Preschool I & II

Preschool I & II are environments meant for children ages 3 to 4 years old. These spaces are built and materials added for children to engage and create with on a daily basis. This environment has more materials to manipulate and change, to divide, and explore freely. The children in this setting are given more freedoms to express what they like and what they don’t. This practice allows teachers to continue working on emergent curriculum and more detailed interactions with peers for obersvations. Preschoolers visit the beyond the fence area daily and make a more reliable track out into the Wilderness Workshop to continue learning and exploring at their own pace. Children in these environments may still be potty training.
